— THE LOOP —

How TechnicianVision works

Five steps, one repair order. Everything you already do at the car — except at the end of it you have a record instead of a memory.

01

The estimate lands in the app before you ever pick up your phone

The estimator emails the estimate documents straight to your scan-to-email address, and they arrive ready to open as a job — no photographing anything. No email intake set up yet? Photograph the insurer's estimate and the scan reads it — VIN, RO number, customer, insurer, grand total, and every labor line with its hours. No estimate at all? Scan the VIN, or open the job by hand. However the work reaches you, it becomes a record in about the time it takes to walk to the car.

  • ·Estimate, hand supplement, paysheet, work order — if you can write on it, we can read it.
  • ·The lines come back categorized: body, refinish, mechanical, structural.
  • ·Your role decides which of those hours are yours.
  • ·Customer name, address, phone and claim number get blacked out before the scan is stored — VIN, RO number and every labor line stay readable.
02

A 30-second walk-around becomes a 30-second supplement

It starts from a curated list of the operations body techs already write ten times a day on paper — saving the time that's already being wasted beats inventing something clever. Then AI layers on top of that, reading your walk-around video, the estimate that came in, and anything else you drop in the job’s files. Your photos end up organized instead of scattered through your phone storage — one of those annoyances you only notice once it stops.

  • ·Photos file to the job the second you take them.
  • ·The walk-around ties the whole car to the job and feeds the supplement directly.
  • ·What you shoot stays yours — you choose what a crew or an estimator ever sees.
03

Build the supplement in the composer

The estimate scrub reads what the insurer wrote against our repair rules and tells you what's missing — the clip that only comes in a kit, the blend nobody wrote, the R&I the panel can't be replaced without. You accept what's right, ignore what isn't, and add whatever you found at teardown. Each line carries its operation, its part, its hours, and the photos that back it.

  • ·Suggestions are offers, never automatic — nothing lands on your supplement unless you put it there.
  • ·Parts are grouped by the panel they hang on, so you can see the gaps.
  • ·Attach evidence to a line while you're still standing at the car.
04

No more paper supplements — collaborate on the board instead

One tap sends your lines to the estimator digitally, tracked from there — no more paper supplements. The board gives estimators and managers a dedicated place to track technician supplements and add a note back on a requested line when the insurance sheet comes in light. When the revised estimate returns, the audit lines it up against what you asked for — granted, shorted, ignored, or quietly added by the insurer — so resolution takes seconds instead of the minutes-to-hours of back-and-forth every job used to cost. The goal is collaboration now and integration later — TechnicianVision is the transference layer and the agentic layer for the body shop.

  • ·The estimator needs no login and no app — just the link.
  • ·Every ask gets a verdict, and a granted amount is capped at what you asked for.
  • ·Flag anything wrong and it stays flagged until it's resolved.
05

Track your own performance on the technician dashboard

The first KPI dashboard built for technicians, not shops. Every job you turn shows up in your history, with a weekly trend and a streak that tracks how consistently you're booking over clocked hours. Set a target and watch it tick as you hit it. It's your record of your own work, and it's yours to improve with.

  • ·Per-job history and a weekly trend, not a single lifetime number.
  • ·Goal tracking with a target you set and a readout that ticks when you meet it.
  • ·It runs on your own data — no shop buy-in required to see it.

What runs in the background while you work

Your hours track themselves against the clock as the job moves, so the gap between what you turned and what you were paid is a number you can look at instead of math on the back of a paysheet. Pay-period rollups and a flag sheet come out of the same data.

Nothing here needs your shop to buy anything, switch estimating systems, or even know you're using it. It's your record of your work, on your phone.
