Features
Everything TechnicianVision does, grouped the way a repair order actually moves — from the paper you were handed to the money that came back.
The supplement composer
Writing a supplement used to mean remembering everything the estimate left out, in order, from memory, at the end of a ten-hour day. The composer is one screen that does the remembering with you — and then hands you a document nobody can wave away.
The scrub reads the estimate first
Before you type a word, every line the insurer wrote is checked against our repair rules. It knows the clip that only ships in a kit, the blend that has to be written on the adjacent panel, and the R&I that a panel physically cannot be replaced without. What's missing shows up as a suggestion with the rule behind it.
Suggestions are offers, never edits
Nothing lands on your supplement because a machine thought it should. Every suggestion is a chip you accept, change, or ignore — and the ones you ignore stay ignored. You are the one signing your name to the ask.
Parts are grouped by the panel they hang on
Open a panel and see what actually attaches to it — brackets, absorbers, retainers, the trim that never survives the teardown. The gaps are visible instead of remembered, which is the difference between a supplement you write once and three you write over two weeks.
Every line carries its own proof
Operation, part, hours, and the photos that back it, attached while you're still standing at the car. A line with evidence on it is an argument. A line without it is an opinion.
Build, review, send
The review step shows the whole ask before it leaves — what you added, what the scrub found, what still has nothing behind it. Then one tap turns it into a package the estimator can open without an account.

Intake — however the paper reaches you
- ·Give your estimator a scan-to-email address of your own and the estimate documents arrive as a job — no photographing paperwork at all.
- ·Program the same address into the shop copier and a scanned estimate lands the same way, with a printable card for the scanner.
- ·Photograph an insurance estimate and have VIN, RO number, customer, insurer, grand total and every labor line read off it.
- ·Scan a VIN straight into a new job when the estimate has not been written yet.
- ·Scan a multi-page estimate, a hand-written supplement, a work order, or a pay sheet.
- ·Or just open the job by hand and fill in what you know.
Evidence — proof, filed where it belongs
- ·Every photo files to its repair order the second you take it, not to a camera roll you will never search again.
- ·Walk-around video clips tied to the job.
- ·Customer name, address, phone and claim number blacked out of scanned paperwork before it is stored — VIN, RO number and every labor line stay readable.
- ·A review step where you can black out anything the detector missed, by hand.
- ·A per-job journal for the notes that never fit anywhere else.
Hours — the gap, in a number
- ·Booked flag hours tracked against clock hours as the job moves.
- ·Hours filtered to your role, so a body tech is not being shown refinish time.
- ·Pay-period rollups and a flag sheet you can hand to the office.
- ·A performance view for the trend across jobs instead of the argument about one.
Send — and a receipt instead of silence
- ·One tap turns your lines into a professional package: operations, hours, parts, photos.
- ·The estimator opens a link — no account, no app, no download.
- ·See when it was opened, then nudge, resend, or revoke the link.
- ·A second ask goes out as a new generation, so the history reads in order.
Audit — what actually came back
- ·Scan the revised estimate and it is lined up against what you asked for.
- ·Every ask gets a verdict: granted, shorted, ignored — and a granted amount is capped at what you asked for, never inflated past it.
- ·Lines the insurer added on their own are recorded as theirs, not credited to your ask.
- ·Flag anything wrong and it stays flagged until somebody resolves it.
Crews — when you are not working alone
- ·Stand up a crew and invite the techs you actually work with.
- ·Share a job with the crew, deliberately, one job at a time.
- ·Crew chat, so the conversation about a car sits next to the car.
- ·Desk access for the person in the office who needs to see it.
The trade — learning the work, not just logging it
- ·A searchable knowledge hub for procedures, positions and the documents behind them.
- ·Written tutorials on the operations that get argued about most.
- ·Notifications so a returned estimate does not sit unread for a week.
The app itself
- ·Installs to your home screen from the browser — no store, no IT ticket, no shop rollout.
- ·Built for a phone in a glove, in a bay, one-handed.
- ·Light and dark, because half of you work under fluorescents and half of you do not.
- ·Your shop does not have to buy anything, switch estimating systems, or even know you use it.
Sign in as who you actually are
Pick your role when you sign up and the whole app changes shape around it. Your role decides which hours on an estimate count as yours, how the supplement reads when it reaches an estimator, and what the app puts in front of you first. Pick more than one if you wear more than one hat — the first is your primary.

Why an estimator and a shop owner are on this list
Because the argument goes better when everyone is reading the same document. An estimator signed in here sees the whole estimate rather than one trade's slice of it, and a shop owner sees the picture across the floor. The tech still owns their own record — sharing a job with a crew is something you do on purpose, one job at a time, not something the shop switches on over your head.
